Our
code of practice
Our Code of Practice has been written in consultation
with energywatch and approved by Ofgem.
ESP Electricity owns and operates electricity networks
which provide a supply of electricity to customers'
homes and business premises. We have responsibilities to our customers
for the following:-
- Enabling customers to contact ESP Electricity easily
and quickly
- Providing services for domestic customers
who are blind or deaf, of pensionable age,
disabled or chronically sick
- Minimising disruption
in case of interruptions to your supply
- Ensuring
customer security and peace of mind when making home
visits
- Resolving any complaints quickly and
guaranteeing customer satisfaction.
The Code of Practice sets out how ESP Electricity exercises
the above responsibilities and how we provide the services that our customers
are entitled to when connected to an ESP Electricity network.
While ESP Electricity is responsible for the electricity network which delivers electricity to customers’ homes and business premises, your electricity supplier sends you a bill for power used and is responsible for maintaining your electricity meter. Details of your supplier can be found on your latest electricity bill.
Electronic copies of this Code of Practice are available from our website
free of charge by clicking here or
by emailing electricity@espipelines.com.
Hard copies are also available (one per customer) upon
request.
